We have a set of key performance indicators that monitor our performance against our service aims, and also gives you more information about how we are doing and where things are happening. These include attendance times, numbers of emergency incidents and so on. We set ourselves annual targets, and monitor progress against these, as well as bench marking against previous years and other services.

We don’t just measure performance against the key indicators. Departments within the Service are encouraged to set up their own local measures.
