Fire crews were mobilised and several calls were received by Fire Control as a large plume of smoke could be seen from the surrounding area.
On arrival, crews confirmed both floors of the stone built storage shed were involved in fire and two main jets and one hose reel jet were in use. The fire was brought under control at approximately 18:16, but the roof of the shed had collapsed.
Crews have been periodically checking the incident and have used hose reel let and jet to knockdown hot spots. A Building Inspector has been requested to assess the stability of a gable end to allow better access to hot spots and ensure safety of the resident.
