Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Initial call received via automated message requesting Fire Service attendance to East Midlands airport to an aircraft in distress.

Updated Incident Information: Aircraft involved was a Boeing 737 - 800 passenger plane, which had developed a fault with it's front wheel.
Aircraft landed safely. Leicestershire Fire Service resources stood by whilst plane was assessed by engineers and passengers were evacuated from the aircraft, aircraft was eventually moved to its stand.
