Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Initial call received from the RSPCA requesting Fire service assistance in rescuing a Badger trapped in a storm drain.

On arrival Fire service crews confirmed 1 Badger was trapped in cylindrical tank measuring 20m by 5m in height. This is an open topped pipe tank used for processing sewage. Gas monitoring taking place by Fire service.
Fire service currently standing by awaiting arrival of a vet for sedation of animal.

Updated Incident Information: Badger has now been tranquilized and two breathing apparatus committed to the tank to retrieve sedated badger
