Initial Information: Call from farmer reporting combine harvester on fire in a field of corn

Updated Incident Information: On arrival Incident Commander confirmed combine harvester well alight in a field of standing corn, Compressed air foam jet in use, request 2 further pumping appliances for assistance.
One combine harvester well alight, 2 breathing apparatus 1 Compressed air foam main jet in use. Machinery and hydraulic equipment in use to gain better access to combine harvester.
All breathing apparatus now withdrawn, making up of compressed air foam jet in progress. This incident is believed accidental ignition, 1 hose reel jet in use.
Damping down of Combine Harvester in progress
Damping down and turning over of hot materials is now complete.
A re inspection will be carried out at 21:00 hours. All equipment has now been made up.
Re inspection has now been carried out and there is no sign of any further fire.
