Initial Information: Several calls received to a large fire seen in the area of Higham Lane Stoke Golding. On arrival crews gave a first impression message stating that a barn was involved in fire and they made pumps 4

Updated Incident Information: 23:34 - 1 large barn involved in fire containing 1 tractor and 200 tonnes of baled hay. Barn measures approx. 20 x 50 meters. Police in attendance and organising road closures.
23:57 - 2 hose reels in use at either end of the barn to protect surrounding area. Light portable pump being used to provide water from the canal.
00:32 - 2 hose reels still in use both sides of the barn protecting surrounding area. Water still being used from nearby canal.
01:32 - Water from canal is still being pumped to the incident ground. 2 hose reel jets in use to damp down the surrounding area. Fire is now being dealt with as a controlled burn. Fire investigation will take place during daylight hours with Police and Fire Service.
