Damage: Severe fire and smoke damage to the 1st floor, slight smoke damage to the ground floor
Believed Cause: Accidental due to unattended tea light in bedroom
Initial Information: 19:19 hrs: 1 x 2 storey semi detached property involved in fire, fire located first floor front bedroom, 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel in use.
Updated Incident Information: 19:38 hrs: Fire now extinguished, damping down in progress. Ventilation now complete at the property. Positive pressure ventilation now being carried out at adjoining property to remove smoke from loft space.
Ambulance requested to attend for 1 casualty suffering smoke inhalation.
STOP at 19:55 hrs: Damping down and cutting away in progress. Fire investigation being carried out. Nuneaton released from the incident.
Red Cross Emergency Response vehicle requested to attend to assist occupiers
