Damage: severe by fire to contents of steel waste bin.
Believed Cause: accidental - carelessly discarded smoking materials
Initial Information: call from occupier stating they believed there was smoke coming from upstairs flat. Treated as persons reported.
Updated Incident Information: Upon arrival crews confirmed bin compound to flats was involved in fire - ground floor and 1st floor of property heavily smoke logged. 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet in use to carry out search - still being treated as persons reported at this stage.
01:53 - STOP - bin compound now extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, all persons now accounted for, ventilation of property now complete.
