Fire and Rescue Service Vehicles Attended: 2 from eastern station, 1 from birstall, 1 from western, technical rescue team from southern station and the command support vehicle from shepshed station, welfare unit from kibworth fire station, fire and emergecny support service red cross vehicle from western station, and the search and rescue dog.

Initial Information: multiple calls recieved to sounds of an explosion

Updated Incident Information: 1 sem detatched property involved in gas explosion
main property has collapsed, neigbouring property partially collapsed and several other properties partially affected.
no fire reported and no smell of gas at this time.
full evacuation of surrounding properties carried out.
1 casualty rescued from collapsed property and recieving treatment by east mids ambulance service
1 cas found in adjoining property
police carrying out full evac of the area
police and ambulance in attendance.
Residents have been liaised with

3rd casualty rescude from the property and being given first aid by fire service and ambulance
technical ressue carrying out survey of structure.
1st cas being taken to hospital by land ambulance

multiple buidlings have suffered damage in the surrounding area

2 casualties transported by land ambulance and 1 by air ambulance

isolation works being carried out by gas and electricity board
local authority building control officer and demolition contractor have identified properties that will require demolition or shoring up
corden is being reduced to allow some residents to return to their homes
fire investigation officers liaising with police
