Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Call received reporting smoke seen. A further call received advising roof on fire and explosions heard.

Updated Incident Information: First message received from the fire ground was an Assistance Message requesting an Aerial Ladder Platform.

An Informative Message received confirmed a fire in a dis-used building. The fire was located on the 3rd floor and roof space. Four Breathing Apparatus working on the 3rd floor and a further two BA were searching the rest of the building. Both teams had hose reel jets. The Aerial Ladder Platform working at the rear of the building fighting the fire in the roof space and top floor.

Another Informative Message confirmed that all Breathing Apparatus had been withdrawn and the Aerial Ladder Platform was now damping down hotspots.

Fire Investigation being carried out.
