Fire and Rescue Service Vehicles Attended: Two appliances from Eastern Station, one appliance from Birstall Station one appliance from Central station and the Command Support Vehicle from Shepshed station.

Believed Cause: Following Fire Investigation the cause is believed to be an electrical fault within a light fitting in the warehouse

Initial Information: Called to a building fire on Wenlock way.
Fire in single storey commercial building
used for storage and sales of fabric
Four Breathing Apparatus two main jets and two hose reel jets in use
asbestos roof involved in fire

Updated Incident Information: Crews still fighting fire from three different sectors.
Four appliances will remain in attendance along with two Aerial Ladder Platforms
Steady progress being made with Aerial Ladder Platforms.
Police are monitoring health and safety of local residents.
Fire Service still in attendance damping down hotspots
