Initial Information: Multiple calls received to reports of a derelict building on Western Park involved in fire.
On arrival crews confirmed this was a Derelict property Involved in fire measuring 25 x 15 m, the incident was quickly increased to 4 appliances along with a number of specialst vehicles to assist with water supplies and lighting. At its height the incident demanded the need for 4 apliances, a water carrier, a command support vehicle, the incident suppprt unit and a welfare vehicle.

External fire fighting took place with fire fighters working from ladders to takle the blaze. The main seat of fire was confirmed to be out at 01:40. Work then took place to remove internal cladding and damp down remaining hot spots.

this incident has now be scaled down to 2 fire appliances. Fire fighters continuing to damp down and check for hot spots.
