Damage: Confined to bin chute

Believed Cause: Discarded smoking materials

Initial Information: Call received to a bin chute fire on the 6th floor of vestry house. No reports of any persons involved and no reports of any injuries. Initial information from fire crews on the scene stated the fire had been confined to the bin chute on the 6th floor. Crews were using 1 main jet to deal with the incident. At 18:30 Stop message was received stating the incident had been extinguished and property allowed to ventilate naturally.
