Initial Information: Occupier reporting a chimney fire on a thatched roof.

Updated Incident Information: Chimney fire, believed extinguished by occupier. Heat source found in an area of thatch, building measures 10m x 20m and consists of 2 floors, Compressed air foam jets being laid out ready to be used.
Salvage work being carried out.
Fire crews removing an area of thatch.
Fire crews sheeted down area of roof where the thatch was removed and will be re inspecting in daylight hours
