Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Call received to a chimney fire in a domestic property.

Updated Incident Information: 10:04 Fire Service crews used small tools to remove part of the fireplace and are inspecting the chimney with a thermal imagining camera.
10:14 Chimney rods and a water back pack are in use.
10:37 Fire Service crews are now removing floor boards and skirting boards to gain access to the fire.
11:00 Fire Service personnel have installed 3 smoke alarms in the property and the fire has now been extinguished and wood burner cleaned out and all equipment has been made up. Occupiers advised not to use the wood burner until inspected by a qualified engineer.
