Initial Information: 1 large cow stuck in river. Cow is not in distress has been stuck for a considerable amount of time. Crews attempting to extricate
Updated Incident Information: 08:45 Technical Rescue have assessed scene and 2 personnel now being got to work in dry suits in attempts to carry out forward assist on cow.
09:43 Cow still remains in water however Vet is happy with health of cow. 3 Technical rescue personal now committed to the river, Now using strops in attempt to remove animal from river
10:19 Cow now rescued from river. Vet is meeting the farmer to access condition of the cow. No personnel in water and all equipment being made up.
