Initial Information: Call received to an unsafe chimney pot on roof of property threatening to fall onto public footpath.
Aerial ladder platform crew have removed chimney pot and are awaiting attendance of a building inspector to confirm safety of bricks on roof.
Road has been closed by the Police whilst aerial ladder platform is being got to work.

Updated Incident Information: Following inspection by building inspector it is confirmed the chimney stack is unsafe and in imminent danger of collapse. Crews attempting to remove as much brickwork as possible with a view to demolition company attending to complete the work later.
