Initial Information: Call from Police requesting Fire Service attend due to dangerous chimney

Updated Incident Information: Incident Commander confirmed chimney collapsed on to footpath, requesting the attendance of the Aerial Ladder Platform. Fire Service closed road for safety reasons. City Council contacted for a building inspector to attend. Following inspection by building inspector, two properties evacuated for safety reasons. Fire crews removing bricks and masonry, Red Cross attended to support residents
