Damage: 100% to 2 rooms by Fire, 50% to First Floor by smoke.

Believed Cause: Accidental.

Initial Information: Calls received from members of the public at 02:39 hrs to a fire seen at derelict Care Home. 3 Fire Engines sent (from Western, Southern and Central Fire Stations). Assistance Message received at 02:56 hrs for another 3 Fire Engines - These were sent from Central, Birstall and Eastern Stations. The fire is currently being knocked back and the building being searched.

Updated Incident Information: Fire extinguished using 4 Firefighters in Breathing Apparatus, 2 Hose Reel Jets and 1 Main Jet.

Fire Investigation was carried out. Caused still under investigation but believed to be accidental.
