Believed Cause: Believed cause is accidental due to hot embers in chimnea that was being stored in the garage.

Initial Information: Call received by Fire Control to a garage fire. The garage was detached from the property and fire appliances were mobilised.
Crews confirmed a large amount of smoke was issuing from the double garage on arrival.
There were no casualties involved. A small amount of rubbish and cardboard involved in fire.
Fire was extinguished using a hose reel jet and 2 crew members wearing breathing apparatus under rapid deployment.

Updated Incident Information: Damping down and cutting away of roof timbers has taken place. Electricity supply has been isolated to garage.
Crews will re-inspect later today.
