Believed Cause: The cause is believed to be accidental

Initial Information: Call received from the occupier of a property advising that their dishwasher was on fire.
The occupants evacuated and fire crews attended confirming the dishwasher was on fire on the ground floor or the property. Two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet were in use to extinguish the fire and the dishwasher was removed from the property.

Investigation and inspection in progress. Crews are cutting away and damping down.

There are no casualties.
