Believed Cause: Following fire investigation the believed cause was an electrical fault in the roof space

Initial Information: Numerous calls received to a domestic property on fire.
Upon attendance by Fire Service, assistance message received to Make Pumps 4. Police requested for traffic and pedestrian footfall.
Fire Service have closed road.

Updated Incident Information: 17:12 - Further assistance message make pumps 6 and Aerial Ladder Platform 1
17:33 - 6 Breathing Apparatus, 2 Hose Reel Jets and 2 Main Jets in use. Police and Fire in attendance. There are no casualties.
17:39 - This is a fire in a domestic dwelling consisting of 2 floors, area 12M x 15M. Fire located on first floor and roof. 6BA and 2HR and 2 main jets in use. No persons reported
18:16 - 2BA, 2HR and ALP in use
19:06 - ALP and 2HR in use, all other equipment being made up. Building inspector in attendance
19:49 - ALP and 1HR in use. Building inspector assessing the stability of the gable end
20:42 - Building inspector has organised a team to remove the gable end tomorrow. ALP is being used to assess for signs of smoke and fire from above the property. Crews are making access into fire compartment for fire investigation
23:01 - Damping down and turning over complete. ALP crew have carried out inspection of roof timbers, no sign of fire spread to adjoining properties. Building control and demolition team will be in attendance tomorrow morning, re-inspection to be carried out by fire service tomorrow morning
