Damage: Fire caused 30% damage to machinery and 100% damage to ducting, there was also water damage from sprinkler activation.

Believed Cause: Fire was caused accidentally

Initial Information: The initial emergency call came from the staff at the site stating that there was a fire within a chimney within the property. All staff were evacuating.
Crews confirmed that there was machinery involved in fire but it had been contained due to the activation of the sprinkler system. Breathing apparatus wearing Firefighters were committed to the site to fight the fire within the ducting of the extraction system using two hose reels and cutting gear. The building measured 40m x 20m and consisted of one floor.
