Initial Information: Call from Police reporting dustbin lorry had jack-knifed on the main A607 at Frisby on the Wreake. 2 appliances from Melton originally mobilised along with Technical Rescue.
First appliance on scene confirmed dustbin lorry on its side completely blocking road no persons trapped. No other appliances required. Police & Ambulance in attendance.
3 occupants self extricated prior to Fire Service arrival. Being assessed by EMAS but believed minor injuries.

Fire crews attempting to stem oil leak from lorry.

A607 Leicester Road at Frisby will be closed for sometime

STOP@12:19 confirmed oil leak has been stemmed. Crews remaining in attendance to assist with recovery of vehicle

Updated Incident Information: At approx 13:45 recovery company righted vehicle using crane and recovery truck.
