Believed Cause: Accidental - Toaster left on hob and hob being accidentally turned on
Initial Information: Occupier reporting smoke in her dwelling
Updated Incident Information: Kitchen fire, in single storey dwelling, fire extinguished using 1 hose reel and 2 Breathing apparatus.
Crews using a positive ventilation fan to clear smoke.
1 female occupant suffered slight burn to foot and ambulance requested to attend. Fire crew rendering first aid to occupant.
Fire crew carried out home safety check and fitted one smoke alarm to property.
