Initial Information: 08:24 fire crews have liaised with onsite personnel. 3 main cores of the substation still involved in fire. 1 hose reel jet in use for damping down. awaiting ETA of demolition crew from onsite staff. Crews have been made aware of falling brickwork.

Updated Incident Information: 08:55 demolition crews are now on scene. 1 hose reel jet still in use for damping down due to smoke and re-ignition. Fire crews to remain in attendance whilst demolition crews carry out their work.

10:04 1 hose reel jet in use for damping down. An onsite safety brief has been given by western power to all personnel. Fire crews are overseeing demolition work which will take place within an hour.

14:57 fire service continue to remain in attendance working alongside demolition crews and extinguishing hot spots.
