Damage: Slight fire damage to front of factory and light smoke damage to building

Initial Information: Call from member of the public reporting a factory on fire.
Updated Incident Information: On arrival Incident Commander confirmed Industrial unit used as an engineering factory involved in fire.
Due to the fire a 3rd fire engine was required for personnel.
Building 25m x 50m, single story with mezzanine floor. 2 water hose reels and 2 fire fighters in breathing apparatus extinguishing the fire with a covering water jet made ready.
Electrical supply to the factory isolated by fire crews. Police attended.
Positive Pressure fan used to clear smoke from adjoining factory.
Fire extinguished at 02:40hrs
A re-inspection to be carried out in daylight hours.
