Damage: Severe fire damage to machine, moderate smoke damage to ground floor of factory

Believed Cause: Overheated PVC Wallpaper Pressing Machine

Initial Information: Call received to a wallpaper machine on fire in a factory.

Updated Incident Information: Following arrival of initial fire crews, 2 more appliances were requested for breathing apparatus. Single storey Industrial Wallpaper Printing Unit involved in fire, measuring 40m x30m, fire located on the ground floor. Two breathing apparatus one hose reel jet, one thermal image camera and one covering jet used.
Positive Pressure Ventilation Fan used.
