Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Reports from scene of female fallen from height into a confined area with potential back and neck injuries.

Updated Incident Information: Upon arrival assistance message received requesting Aerial Ladder Platform.
Incident confirmed as a 17 year old female fallen over wall approximately 10 foot below ground level. LRI staff assisting in treating casualty who is suffering from back injuries.

18:29 - Aerial Ladder platform being got to work with basket stretcher, stretcher being lowered down to casualty to extricate from her position, Specialist rope team remaining in attendance giving technical advice.

19:02 - 17 year old female extricated from hole using Aerial Ladder Platform and Basket Stretcher, casualty convyed to LRI A&E
