Initial Information: 1 fire engine mobilised following the initial emergency call to a report of a fence involved in fire

Updated Incident Information: on arrival crews quickly requested the assistance of a second appliance for extra water. Also advising that in addition to the fence a vehicle was involved in fire.

Leicestershire fire and rescue service crews have confirmed the fire involved the rear fence of 5 properties, 2 sheds and 1 van. Fire fighters used 2 breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one main fire fighting jet to tackle the multiple fires.

just before 8am all fires was confirmed extinguished and crews were damping down the scene. A fire investigation officer was requested due to incident being suspected arson. The Fire investigation Officers are now in attendance and investigations to confirm the cause are underway.
