Believed Cause: Currently under investigation.

Initial Information: Several calls received to a flat fire on 13th floor of a 17 floor residential High Rise Building. Smoke issuing from flat. Crews arrived and followed High Rise procedures to tackle the fire. 2 Firefighters wearing Breathing Apparatus using 1 Main Jet Hose tackled fire within flat.
Police, East Midlands Ambulance HART Team and representatives from Leicester City Council in attendance.

Updated Incident Information: UPDATE at 01:40 - Fire now extinguished, all persons accounted for and breathing apparatus withdrawn. Smoke curtain used to stop smoke spread within building and no other flats affected by fire.
Further Update at 04:28 - Fire crews now leaving scene, Fire Investigation to follow in daylight hours.
