Believed Cause: Fire Investigation carried out. Cause was accidental due to work being carried out on the roof with a hot blow torch.

Initial Information: Numerous calls received to a building fire in Cedar Road, Leicester.
Building approximately 15m x 30m involved in fire
2 breathing apparatus in use with 2 main jets
Police, Ambulance, Gas, Water and Electric in attendance, Environment Agency informed.

Updated Incident Information: This incident continued throughout the night, once all the hot spots had been extinguished, this was at 06:00 hours, crews came away from the incident.
A re-inspection of the site is being undertaken this morning by crews from our Central Station, they are accompanied by our Fire Investigation Officers including the Fire Detection Dog.

Re-inspection carried out.
