Damage: Light damage by fire and heat to printer machine

Believed Cause: Accidental

Initial Information: The call originated from the premises, where the caller stated that smoke was filling the building and that all staff were in the process of evacuating.

Updated Incident Information: One machine involved in fire on shop floor at ground level of factory. CO2 bank had been activated within the premises and three breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one covering jet were in use.

23:38 - The fire was believed to be extinguished and the power to further machines had been isolated.

23:56 - All breathing apparatus was withdrawn and all roof vents have been opened by fire crews. An inspection of the machine involved was expected shortly.

00:04 - Electrics and air was isolated on the shop floor and the Incident Commander continued to liaise with the Site Manager. Equipment was being made up.
