Damage: 100% to building by smoke and fire

Believed Cause: Believed deliberate ignition.

Initial Information: 17:54 - Fire service attempting to gain access to locked gateway. 1 main jet in use. Explosion heard in the vicinity. Fire Service evacuating people to safe place due to explosion. Believe this is persons reported. Request attendance of police for evacuating nearby premises.
18:13 - 1 single storey brick building involved in fire. Building measures 20 x 50 meters. Building used as a security gate house. Crews have 2 main jets in use. Security gate is disused.
18:35 - small pockets of fire still present. Cutting away and fire fighting in progress. This incident remains persons reported until deemed safe to enter building. 2 main jets breaking in gear and ceiling hooks in use. Fire service liaising with police to secure remainder of property.
19:18 - All persons now accounted for. Damping down and turning over in progress. 2 BA have been withdrawn. Positive pressure ventilation fan in use.
19:37 - Damping down and turning over in progress. Removal of corrugated panels from front of building is also in progress.
19:59 - Damping down and removal of corrugated panelling is in progress. 2 short extension ladders, 1HR and Thermal Image Camera in use
20:21 - Damping down and cutting away now complete. Re-inspection to be carried out on 11/04/2017
