Damage: Moderate by fire, heat and smoke to affected silos

Believed Cause: overheated content in silo

Initial Information: 08:15 - 1 silo involved in fire. 1 hose reel jet in place and charged. Working at height equipment being donned to gain access

Updated Incident Information: 08:50 - Access has now been gained by hopper on side of silo. Fire is in the main hopper. Damping down and turning over is in progress using hose reel jet.

09:17 - Fire in the main hopper is now believed to be extinguished. Crews are continuing to empty the contents of the silo whilst turning over and damping down.

09:28 - STOP MESSAGE - Fire is extinguished, turning over and damping down is complete. Making up of equipment in progress. Incident to be monitored for a further 10 minutes.
