Damage: minor fire damage to cooker, moderate smoke damage to cooker.

Believed Cause: Frying pan left on cooker

Initial Information: 02:32 - Request the attendance of an ambulance for 1 male suffering from smoke inhilation

02:36 - 1 domestic property involved in fire. Property consists of 2 floors - ground and first. Property measures approximately 30m x 10m. Fire is located in the kitchen at the rear of the property. 2 BA and 1 HR jet in use.

Updated Incident Information: 02:43 - STOP MESSAGE - Fire is now extinguished and all BA has been withdrawn. Post incident response and fire investigation being carried out. All equipment being made up. Casualty being seen to by Paramedic for smoke inhalation.

Male casualty was conveyed to Leicester Royal Infirmary for observations.
