Believed Cause: Under Investigation and will recommence in daylight hours

Initial Information: Several calls received from members of the public reporting a flat fire which was well alight - 3 appliances sent.

Updated Incident Information: 04:36 - Informative Message : Incident confirmed as Terraced property consisting of 2 floors involved in fire measuring approx 5M x 10M, 1st floor involved. 4 Breathing Apparatus, 2 Hose reel Jets and 1 main jet in use, property is part of a row of terraces measuring 60M x 10M. Fire initially attacked from ground floor by Breathing Apparatus crew then knocked back considerably by means of using a short extension ladder. Fire then attacked further from Bassett Street. Incident declared persons reported, one dog rescued by Fire Service, Gas and Electricity Board requested.

05:01 - Informative Message - All Breathing Apparatus now withdrawn, damping down and turning over in property, flat has been thoroughly searched and all persons accounted for.

06:32 - Stop - Damping down and cutting away still in progress, drag forks, shovels and hose reel jet in use, appliances committed approximately 30 minutes.
