Initial Information: Call from occupier reporting smell of smoke in flat
Updated Incident Information: On arrival Fire Crews confirmed fire in basement flat and requested a further fire engines as it was suspected people may still be in the flat.
Police, Ambulance and Fire crews on scene. Building of 4 storeys and basement .
Fire in basement flat, 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel and 1 water jet being used to fight the fire.
All persons are accounted for and full evacuation of the flats had taken place.
*STOP Message from Crews* - 08:02 - Smoke now clear from property and residents allowed back into property. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
