Believed Cause: Under investigation

Initial Information: A neighbour rang 999 to alert Fire Control that there was a flat involved in fire, they confirmed that the occupier of the flat was out of the property and that there were no persons reported.
This was a two storey flat measuring 10m x 15m used as a private dwelling, the fire was located in a bedroom and was well alight. Four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and one main jet were in use to extinguish the fire.
A further hose reel was got to use to extinguish the fire in the loft space. Working at height equipment and 9m ladder used to access the roof space by removing roof tiles.

Updated Incident Information: 21/8 Fire Investigation officers remain at scene establishing cause of fire.
