Initial Information: several emergency calls to reports of smoke issuing from a flat on Welford road, this was believed to be a flat first floor flat.

Updated Incident Information: 05:53 - small fire in kitchen on ground floor. 1 person has been rescued by fire service from first floor flat roof using a short extension ladder. 2 breathing apparatus 1 hose reel in use. A ll person are now accounted for.

06:07 - Chopping away of flat roof in progress. small tools and hose reel in use. all breathing apparatus has been withdrawn.
