Believed Cause:

Initial Information: The owner of the forklift truck called via 999 to state that his forklift was on fire on Main Street, Peatling Parva. It was established that there was no one near the vehicle and advice was given to remain a safe distance from it.
A fire appliance from Lutterworth Station was mobilised to the incident.
The fire was located within the engine of the forklift, this was extinguished using one hose reel. A thermal imaging camera was used to monitor the cooling of the engine compartment once the fire had been extinguished.
