Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Fire Control received a call from the Ambulance Service reporting a road traffic collision on the Frolesworth Road, just outside of Broughton Astley. They were still travelling to the scene, so the incident was treated as persons trapped.

On arrival, crews confirmed that there were no persons trapped, but that one large goods vehicle had overturned into a field. A Paramedic, the Police and an ambulance were in attendance at the scene. There were no diesel leaks and fire crews attempted to make safe access for ambulance crews.

The casualty was moved to a land ambulance and conveyed to Leicester Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.

Updated Incident Information: It was confirmed that the vehicle was carrying a non-hazardous load.
