Believed Cause:

Initial Information: A call was received from a member of the public advising of a trailer that had overturned, containing 2 horses.

On arrival, crews confirmed 2 horses, both conscious and breathing, were trapped in the overturned trailer. Both horses were sedated by a vet at the scene.

The police were requested to attend to close the road to traffic in both directions.

11:42 - Both horses were extricated from the trailer and were relocated to nearby stables for further assessment and the police were arranging recovery of the vehicles involved.
