Damage: 100% by fire to bedroom 80% smoke damage to landing

Believed Cause: Believed Accidental

Initial Information: The initial call indicated that a television had caught fire in a rear bedroom of a house and two appliances were mobilised. Once the fire crews arrived on the scene, they requested the assistance of a further two appliances as they believed persons were still inside the property.

Updated Incident Information: Four crew members wearing breathing apparatus were deployed. Two hose reel jets were in use. All persons were accounted for.

18:13 - The fire had been extinguished.

18:31 - Damping down and cutting away were in progress and two persons were receiving first aid treatment by East Midlands Ambulance Service and the Police were also in attendance.

Crews reinspected the incident and no hot spots found, incident has now been closed.
