Damage: 15% to outside of property by fire, 15% smoke to inside of property.

Believed Cause: Carelessly discarded smoking materials in refuse area.

Initial Information: Message Entry 1 and time: 17:50 – One fire started outside of property has involved some or part of the kitchen. Fire service personnel have gained access to the property. 2 breathing apparatus under rapid deployment using 1 hose reel jet in use.

Message Entry 2: 18:10 – Fire has now been extinguished, fire service checking the roof space for fire and smoke spread. All breathing apparatus now withdrawn

Message Entry 3: 18:45 – Damping down and venting in progress

Time of Stop: 18:17 – Fire has now been extinguished and breathing apparatus withdrawn. Gas and electricity has been isolated from property. All equipment in process of being made up.
