Initial Information: Initial call received to fire involving house. On arrival fire crews confirmed that smoke was issuing from the front door.

Updated Incident Information: 2 casualties have been rescued from the property and in the care of Fire Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service. Domestic property of 2 floors measuring 30 x 50 meters involved in fire. Fire located on the ground floor. 2 BA, 1 Hose reel, 1 main jet and 1 thermal image camera in use.

Fire investigation will take place during daylight hours to determine cause.

BA now withdrawn, monitoring hot spots and making up equipment. 2 casualties have been transported to Leicester Royal Infirmary by ambulance
