Damage: Moderate fire damage to the boiler, severe heat and smoke to the airing cupboard

Believed Cause: Accidental

Initial Information: Occupier reporting a fire under the boiler.

Updated Incident Information: 3 storey terraced dwelling, 5m x 10m, fire located on 2nd floor in airing cupboard.
2 fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a water hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Positive pressure ventilation fan used to clear smoke.
Smoke alarms were fitted in the building and activated to alert the occupants.
