Fire and Rescue Service Vehicles Attended: One from Western, Southern and Central Fire Stations. The Emergency Response crew also attending in their vehicle.

Damage: Severe fire damage to roof and loft

Believed Cause: Believed Electrical fault

Initial Information: Initial call from neighbour reporting lots of smoke from the building.

Updated Incident Information: 1 male casualty rescued by Fire Service and receiving first aid from Paramedics. Property is a bungalow, roof is fully involved in fire. Building measures 20m x 15m, 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and 1 main jet being got to work from ladders on the exterior of the property. Road has been closed for safety, Police & Ambulance are both in attendance.
6 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels and 1 main jet now in use. Entry has been forced into rear of property. Substantial fire to rear of property, casualty suffering light smoke inhalation and is being treated by Ambulance staff.
Electricity now isolated, crews searching for Gas isolation.
22:38 hrs: All breathing apparatus now withdrawn, 2 hose reels in use. Structure of roof showing signs of being unstable. This fire is deep seated, all appliances will be committed for some time.
Fire Investigation Officer required to attend.
Crews continuing to damp down roof space, dragging out and turning over, no personnel committed inside the bungalow. 2 hose reels in use.
2 pumps attended to relieve crews already at scene.
01;26 - Relief crews damping down area and using 2 hose reels.
Incident has been re-inspected this morning 11/12 and incident is now closed
