Believed Cause:

Initial Information: Call received reporting lightning had struck roof of property which had caught fire. First Impression message confirmed house well alight, 2 breathing apparatus being committed and Aerial Ladder Platform requested. Make up to 4 pumps for personnel and water for Aerial Ladder Platform.

Updated Incident Information: Informative Message confirmed property involved in fire due to being struck by lightning. Fire confined to loft space. Four Breathing Apparatus, 2 Hose Reels, 1 main jet and short extension ladder in use. Incident Support Unit requested for salvage and sheeting.
