Damage: Light smoke damage to ground floor of property.

Believed Cause: Pan left on cooker.

Initial Information: Call received from a neighbour reporting alarm sounding within the property and reporting smoke could be seen in the kitchen.

Updated Incident Information: Upon Fire Service arrival, smoke could be seen on the ground floor and there was no answer from the property. Fire Service gained entry to the property and a small fire was located in the kitchen. 2 Breathing Apparatus and 1 Hose Reel Jet in use to extinguish the fire. One occupant rescued from the property and all persons accounted for. Casualty suffering from smoke inhalation in the care of EMAS.
Positive Pressure Ventilation completed and all equipment made up.
